StevieRay Latham’s dark, melodic, art-folk invokes names like Kurt Vile, Blake Mills, Nick Drake & Neil Young.
Taking inspiration from a nomadic lifestyle, his music has taken him from a childhood in the rural Southwest to the industrial outskirts of London and beyond, spending time in China, South Africa & Europe in recent years. His latest release, the self-produced ‘Letters from Suburbia EP’, is a collection of deeply poetic songs incorporating influences from gothic blues to garage rock and from delicately picked folk songs to ambient soundscapes.
The Letters from Suburbia EP is released in March 2021, with thanks to the Arts Council National Lottery Fund.
